Why use our product?
We use low Voc, 100 percent solids, “epoxy resin” which comprises of both resin and hardener. This means that what goes onto your floor stays on your floor it does not evaporate into the air during application as with solvent borne products. There are cheaper versions on the market that clients try but these cheap brands usually leave them disheartened as they do not stand up to harsh environments and will fade or chip easily over time. The product we use will last for many years even decades If well maintianed and subjected to proper care. We also deal with the manufacturer which means we have direct support and product knowledge on the products we use.
Maintenance routine for your new epoxy floor or benchtop.
All you need to do is… if it gets stained or dirty a little warm water and a mop will see it shining like new again. Oil spills and grease will come right off with an old rag. The main thing to remember or be aware of is to keep any acid or really heavy blunt objects from falling on it.
Also to add on the maintenance routine for your new apoxy floor is to never let acid of any type come into contact with the floor as this may dull or fade the colour and can also lead to delamination. This may range from citric acid from some domestic cleaning agents to hydro chloric acid from the swimming pool. Bat poo has also been known to have an adverse effect on floors as well. When temperatures get a bit hotter in the summer months please consider the heat from hot tyres and place mats down where your tyres would normally settle as to provide a barrier between the floors and tyres.
